Constructing and Managing Globally Diversified Investment Portfolios

Constructing and Managing Globally Diversified Investment Portfolios

At Kobo we firmly believe that an investment strategy that adheres to a disciplined approach to optimal asset allocation and rebalancing will succeed over the longer-term. We consider historical relationships and market insights to develop a view of the global markets that seeks to anticipate turning points in various return cycles. We determine how and when to choose a style, location, and size of investment, and whether to do so passively or actively. Asset allocation decisions are based on a combination of internal research by investment professionals and independent research. Allocation changes are typically made on a quarterly basis or as global capital markets dictate. A client’s recommended asset allocation is dependent on several factors including time horizon, risk tolerance and income needs.

3(38) Investment Management For Qualified Retirement Plans

Providing Investment Advice to Individuals, Pensions, Endowments, and Foundations

Kobo Wealth acts as a 3(38) fiduciary for qualified retirement plans including 401(k), 457(b), 403(b) and 401(a) plans. In this capacity we construct, monitor, and make on-going changes to four pension-caliber investment portfolios that are made available to retirement plan participants. We design these portfolios to ensure that participants are investing in the capital markets and not speculating with their retirement income savings. We take a team approach to working with the plan advisor to ensure that effective communication is provided to plan sponsors and plan participants.
